There has Never Been a Better Time to Start your OWN Recruitment Agency

Down through the stream of time, due to the advance internet, there has never been a better time to start an online recruitment business.

Yet many hold back from following their dream.

In this article, I would like to address the desires of those individuals who have dreamed of owning their own recruitment agency and yet have not taken the first step to realizing that dream. We will also look at some of the obstacles that stand in their way and what can be done to overcome them.

# A major obstacle most people face:

There are a host of reasons why many people don’t pursue their idea of starting a business. Top among them is the fear factor. The fear that I am referring to is experienced in many different ways by each of us.

There is no such thing as one type fear that is experienced the same way by everyone. However, in the end, any type of fear will prevent anyone from moving forward.

Some of the common fears are:
• The fear of failure
• The fear of rejection
• The fear of embarrassment
• The fear of loss and risk.
• And much more…

The fact is fear takes on various shapes and acknowledging that it exists is always the first step. So, now let’s take a look at what you can do to begin to conquer this fear.

# Write it down

As stated above, the first step is to accept that there could possibly be a fear factor that is hampering your dream of starting your own business. So, begin by noting down what is specifically holding you back.

It is also good to have support from friends and family who are equally optimistic and motivated. Otherwise, it is easy to be persuaded by people who tell us that our ideas are futile, or that it is not possible for you to succeed.

Remember that whenever, anyone tries to break out from the traditional way of doing things, there are numerous so called friends who will try and persuade you to throw in the towel. Sometimes they are members of your family or well-meaning friends. This fact alone makes it that much harder not to listen or be influenced by their comments. Yet, these well-meaning folks may be motivated by their personal fears or lack of ambition and now these fears may be projecting onto you.

When starting a business, there is a tendency to look for perfection and accept nothing less than optimum. So instead of just launching the business many continue to tweak it. Some are always waiting for just the right time to open, and looking for every little detail to be perfect.

Similarly, there also exists the person who is doing their due diligence and doing extensive market research on this business opportunity. This type of thinking usually leads to what has been traditionally called, “paralysis by analysis”. In other words they do not move forward because they believe they need more information. The information they seek can be anything from:

• more training (or education)
• more experience
• more research
• and more time

Truth be told, all the preparing in the world will not be as good as implementing something. When we look at many of today’s business success stories we discover that rather than being carefully planned these businesses evolved into what they are today.

Organizations like Microsoft had a beginning that was unlike their current status. What was important was not the perfectly executed business plan, but rather the ability to flex with the demands of the target market.
It is not always possible to know everything about your target market. The best information about their preferences and needs will be discovered as the business is launched and it evolves.

The objective at this point is simply to start your business, then work hard to ensure your business is as profitable as quickly as possible.
